In this workshop, we will learn to make a ceramic bowl by hand. We will build and shape the bowl, combining different colours and textures. No previous experience is required.
At the end of the workshop, we will choose a glaze for each bowl from a selection of 12 glazes. The bowls will remain at the studio for a week of slow drying, and we will complete the process for you: a bisque firing, applying your chosen glaze, and a second firing. About one month after the workshop, we will send you a message when your bowl is ready for collection.
The workshop is led by Amanda Bauer, an archaeologist and ceramic artist.
